Meet our Guest Instructor: DONYALE HALL

Donyale “Donni” Hall is a proud native of Los Angeles and for nearly two decades has worked at the City of Los Angeles in various functions and departments.  In 2007, she began working at the City’s Emergency Management Department (EMD) as a Senior Project Coordinator and is currently the Grant Administrator for EMD.  Donni’s ability to successfully multi-task allows her to manage simultaneous grants totaling over two million dollars in funding, as well as procuring equipment and supplies.  It is with deliberate and diligent effort that she ensures grant requirements, guidelines, contractual verbiage and criteria are being interpreted and handled in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with policies, procedures and expectations. As an Emergency Management staff member, Donni’s focus is to assist in making certain all Angelinos are educated and ready in the event of a natural disaster or any other host of emergency response crises that may happen.

Donni holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and dual master’s degrees from Keller Graduate School of Management in Business Administration and Project Management.  She remains active in her community and volunteers in her spare time with her alma maters; St. Mary’s Academy and UCLA. When time permits, she is an avid reader and traveler, who is on course to visit all 50 US states, with just under 20 achieved.
